The ball flying out from a moving cart will eventually jump back into the cart. In the updated version, this is done with the Pasco Dynamics cart and track. We have an electromechanical ball popper that attaches to the cart. It fires a 1 inch ball when a photocell is blocked by a pre-set trigger. The ball comes back down into the mouth of the "cannon" regardless of the velocity of the cannon.
