Constant Volume Thermometer

The thermometer consists of a stainless steel cylinder that is connected to a pressure gage and is mounted in such manner that it may be completely immersed in a standard dewar flask or a brass tube. By immersing the cylinder in a liquid such as ice water or hot water steam, corresponding pressure readings may be obtained under conditions of constant volume.
