Free Body: Equilibrium of Forces

This is a wood ramp about a meter long mounted within a rectangular support frame. Typically, the ramp is set at a 30 degree angle and a 10 newton mass cart is suspended from parallel and normal spring scales while staying barely in contact with the ramp. You can calculate the vector sums of forces. The numbers work within 10%. The ramp may be dropped out from under the cart to emphasize that the combination of components equals the weight of the cart.
