This machine consists of one simple harmonic oscillator and four pendulums (simple pendulum, complex pendulum, torsion pendulum, and vibration pendulum). The weights on the complex and vibration pendulums are used to vary the frequency. They may be put in phase with the simple pendulum by properly adjusting the weight.
