My work involves the magneto-optical study of nanomaterials through absorption, photoluminescence, and Raman scattering, focusing primarily on sp2-bonded carbon systems. Using both steady-state and time-resolved polarization dependent optical techniques at low temperatures and in applied magnetic fields, we study the anisotropy of the electronic structure of these systems.
