Yu Ren (William) Zhou
William majors in Physics with a concentration in Physical Theory and Experimental Techniques as well as Materials Science and Engineering (MSE).
Focusing on the application of semiconductor nanomaterials, such as Carbon Nanotubes and monolayer Molybdenum Disulfide, to sensing of gaseous organic compounds. The presence of organic compounds could be detected by changes in electrical properties (such as electrical conductivity) of nanomaterials upon exposure to these compounds.
