| Day 1: July 2nd Today, after a brief introduction, the students explored kinematics (how objects move) with a brief discussion of the topic followed by a laboratory exericse where the students were actually the lab equipment! Afterwards, the students learned about geometric optics (ray optics). In the afternoon, the students studied geoemetric optics using a thin lens machined here at Penn.
