Day 2: July 3rd
Students began the day with an introduction to Newton's Laws by looking at momentum and impulse. This was followed in the lab with a lab that demonstrated acceleration under a constant force. Later in the morning, students learned about interference and waves. After lunch, students returned to have a discussion about the morning lab and then went to the lab to observe the interference of waves using a set of double and single slit gratings machined here at Penn.
