Day 2: July 5th
Students began the day with an introduction to digital oscilloscopes, and then went into the lab to us a digital oscilliscope to measure the speed of sound in air and the speed of electricity through a wire. Later in the morning, students returned to the classroom to discuss the answers to their Fermi questions. After lunch, students learned about physical optics and light diffraction before going into the lab to look at interference and diffraction along with the Balmer series.
