Day 3: July 6th
Students began the day with a review of the interference and diffraction lab that they completed the afternoon before. Following this, students were given a deeper treatment of inertia in preparation for their trip to the Simeone Auto Museum. Finally, students ended the morning with a lecture from Dr. Marija Drndic, a leading physicist in the field of nanocrystasls and nanotechnology here at Penn. After lunch, students returned to class to learn about electricity and Ohm's Law and then went to the lab to work with devices that are Ohmic, and ones that are non-Ohmic.
