Day 8: July 13th
Students began the morning with an introduction to the equipment they would be using at Hershey Park along with an opportunity to test this equipment. This was followed by an introduction to Einstein's theory of general relativity. Later in the morning, students heard from Dr. James Aguirre about his work with radio telescopes (some students will get the opportunity to work with Dr. Aguirre next week). In the afternoon, students presented their work on exponential (and non-exponential) phenomena. After dinner, students return to discuss the development and implementation of the atomic bomb.
