Day 14: July 24th
This morning, the students hit the pavement as they toured seven different labs including labs in LRSM, the Singh Center and David Rittenhouse Lab. Labs visited covered topics from nano-technology, imaging, and bioluminesence to astromony and cosmology. Later in the morning, students heard from James Aguirre, a radio astronomer at Penn and collaborator on the PAPER and MeerKAT arrays in South Africa. In the afternoon, returned to their interest groups for one final day.
