Tom Haxton

Ph.D. candidate, Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Pennsylvania

I am a graduate student working with Prof. Andrea J. Liu in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania. I am studying the glass transition, particularly the role of dynamic heterogeneity and effective temperature, and the scaling of soft glass rheology near jamming. Before I came to Penn, I studied math and physics at the University of Chicago.
