Jupiter:

I like this image, I had to increase the red in the image to
get the color shown, but it shows the bands very well, and does
give a sense of the differences in the bands coloration.

This is an image of the M15 Globular Cluster. I had to perform
a maxent on the raw images to resolve the individual stars, and
then by reducing the color saturation I got the uniform coloration.

This is an image of the center of the Great Nebula in Orion.
Unfortunately I over saturated the stars at the center of the
nebula and this made the blue shapes that dont fit in the
image. However, the nebulous cloud around the stars came out great.
And I think it is well worth it to show the extent of the cloud
around the newly formed stars. In the background you can see other
young stars that are not quite as bright.
Pinwheel Galaxy
Photos taken: 12/3/01
This is the center of the pinwheel galaxy. The whole galaxy stretches on much farther, but you can see some of the around the rightmost star in the central triangle. This was the first set of images I took, and while the subject matter isnt the most interesting, Im proud of how well it turned out.

Saturn
Photos taken: 12/3/01
You can see Saturn very nicely on this unfortunately there is not much resolution. You can see one band on the planet. The blue image for this set was much fainter than the red or the green and this accounts for the slightly yellow look, despite have the blue much more intense than the other two colors. You can also see the shadow of the planet on the rings at the bottom and the shadow of the rings on the planet at the top. I think that is very cool.
