PROMETHEUS MALE CHORUS The Prometheus Ukrainian Male Chorus of Philadelphia is quickly approaching its 50th Anniversary, to be marked in 2011. The Chorus has a long and distinguished history, which included tours of Europe in 1980 & 1984, and Ukraine in 1995. They have performed at the Montreux Choral Festival and Competition, earning a front page review in many Swiss newspapers, Carnegie Hall and Town Hall in New York, Mont Royale in Montreal, Roy Thomson and Massey Hall in Toronto, and the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, among many, many other prominent venues around the world. With the "Golden Anniversary" in mind, we invite all former members and new singers to join us as we prepare for our jubilee celebrations. Rehearsals are held every Monday (excluding holidays), from 7:30-9:30 p.m., at the UECC, 700 Cedar Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046.
