DIP x PSPDG Workshop: Science Policy for Physicists!

- | David Rittenhouse Laboratory, 3W2

Diversity and Inclusion in Physics at Penn (DIP) is hosting the Penn Science Policy and Diplomacy Group (PSPDG) for a specially curated workshop, Science Policy for Physicists on Thursday April 28th from 4PM - 6PM in 3W2. In this workshop we will ask, “What exactly is Science Policy?” and “How can a practicing Physicist (like me) become involved?” Graduate students and postdocs are invited to learn how they can engage with science policy at the institutional, local, and federal levels. Ultimately, we’ll work together to develop these skills through current, real-world examples and discussions grounded in physics. Join us to learn how we as scientists can shape policy at any stage in their careers! A free meal will be provided with RSVP. Join us to learn how we as scientists can shape policy at any stage in our careers!
