Rebekah earned her PhD at Liverpool John Moores University in 2012. Her thesis was on The Outbursts of Classical and Recurrent Novae. Since then, she was a postdoc at STScI where she worked on Gamma Ray Bursts, and astrometry. She then went to UIUC where she worked on WFIRST and the SN survey. She moved to UCSC after that still working on supernovae and WFIRST.
